Apparently, a power nap is all Maeve needs mid-mealtime. For the second time in a row, she feel asleep while eating. The first time we were out to dinner on the last day of our New Zealand trip. That I thought I understood; there were many long days and she was justified in her desire for sleep. But the second time she was just sitting in her high chair, eating a banana while I cooked dinner. Too cute.

Hi Parkers ... I can't believe how big Maeve is getting to be. She is beautiful. Jackson must be really proud to be the 'big brother' - he's always smiling in his pictures. I don't know if Sherri told you, Kate. Dale said there were seven men from Illinois at the golf course and one of them said he had gone to school with someone from Morton -- Steve Schupp. Dale couldn't believe it -- told him about the 'family' ties to Steve. The man's name was Reardon. Just in case Sherri forgets to mention it to your Dad. Thought he would enjoy the story. Our Avery is growing also. Her school is teaching her to sing and say her ABC's in Spanish. She does really well. She is also reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. They say it every day in school. It is an Academy -- a structured school -- rather than a day care. She started there in May. Jackson might like something like that. A lot of social, but teaching at the same time. I think that's why she never stops talking (couldn't be hereditary!!!) I miss all the family gatherings, but with Jackie and Jenny both here in Florida now (we love it) -- it doesn't give me the excuse to come back to Illinois like it used to. I know you are looking forward to Sherri and Jim coming down -- and your trip home for the holidays. Keep up the pictures -- I check almost every week to see if you have new pics and info. Kate, have you started writing those children's books -- or started your book about marrying into the Parker family -- just your travels would be stories enough. Please try -- you are so very talented. Miss you all -- kisses to Maeve and Jackson. Aunt Gigi
